- Reception, welcome ceremony, presentation of Workshop goals (9:00am – 9:20am);
- Institutional presentation, Cemaden (9:20am – 9:50am);
- First round table: Knowing, evaluating and comprehending the dimensions of disaster risks; historical paradigms in disaster risk management in Latin America.

- Identifying the workgroups: presentation of goals and workshop methodology, group divisions, presentation of group moderators and rapporteurs (2:00pm – 2:30pm).

- First report of discussions (3:30pm – 4:00pm).
